New Internet Network Provider To Start Construction In Alexandria


ALEXANDRIA, VA — Ting, one of two internet providers approved to provide citywide internet service, will begin fiber network construction in Alexandria.

Earlier in the spring, Alexandria City Council approved broadband franchises for two companies — Lumos and Ting. New broadband internet services will introduce competition in Alexandria, where Comcast is currently the only internet provider.
